 The Roll of Honour in memory of pupils and staff who fell in World War II was unveiled by the Govenor-General, Sir Bernard Fergusson, at the Thanksgiving Service. The Roll of Honour was made by Taupo Totara Timber Company (S.P.N.D.) Ltd. and the lettering done by Mr V.F.Follas. It will stand beside a similar roll of honour for the men of World War 1.

Old Boys of the Cambridge Primary and District High School made a splendid response in World War I and the names of thirty-five of these fine young men are recorded on the Roll of Honour.

This was unveiled by the Mayor, Mr T. F. Richards, on May 7, 1925. From material donated by Messrs S.P.N.D. Ltd. the Roll of Honour was designed and constructed by Mr H. Fullalove. Names appearing are:—
